Join us for a staged reading of A Christmas Carol led by Hedgerow Theater Director Emeritus Penelope Reed and performed by veteran actors of Hedgerow's long-running performance of the play.
Charles Dickens himself made history by publicly reading his enduring 1843 novella more than 100 times to huge audiences, employing different voices for each character. This reading will be based on playwright Nagle Jackson’s adaptation, famously performed in theaters around the nation every holiday season.
This performance is a special tribute to Jackson, who passed away this summer. The reading takes place at 6 p.m. It is a pay-what-you-can event with a suggested donation of $20. PLEASE RSVP below.
