Mobile Making Workshop

Learn how to create an upcycled spiral copper and mixed media mobile that can be used inside or outside in the garden! Students will learn basic and intermediate wire-wrapping and folding skills as they utilize copper wire, copper tubing, findings, and other materials to make a fun and colorful design piece to hang.

All materials are provided. Best for ages 16 and older.

Liz Coats

Liz Coats is an art teacher, sculptor, jeweler and mixed media workshop director who has a passion for a variety of artistic media. Wearing multiple hats of a creator, an arts advocator, an art festival organizer, and a mother have allowed her artwork to take flight in several directions. Liz’s background in liturgical dance and music has had a tremendous influence on the fluidity and feminine curvature of her work. She is the owner of A New Creation, LLC and sells her artwork in a variety of galleries and boutiques in the tri-state area. Liz has a Master’s in Art Ed. from Tyler School of Art and loves to teach students of all ages!
