Are you looking for a chance to brush up on your Spanish conversation skills and have a blast while doing it? Join our new Spanish Convo Group! The guided discussions will cover a variety of fun topics. The Convo Group is open to anyone 12 and older.

Persephone Braham is Professor of Spanish and Latin American Studies at the University of Delaware and has 20+ years of experience teaching Spanish at all levels. Her research is on monsters and monstrosity in Latin America, and she also writes and teaches about Latin American and Caribbean film, urban space and power, and gender and sexuality. Her book From Amazons to Zombies was described as ‘An accessible and super generative study of how monstrosity—including the cannibal—was a trope used by European colonizers because they were idiots’ (Joseph Pierce).
