The Wandering Artist
Grades 1-5
Not all artists who wander are lost....Hop into our time machine to travel to different artistic time periods to work with multi-mediums to create your own masterpieces.
As we "land", travelers will be introduced to a new artistic movement via video clips, an hands-on project (painting, watercolor, clay, 2D and 3D materials, drawing, and collage) and some places, a group game.
We're heading to the lands of: Pop Art, Expressionism, Surrealism, Abstract, Cubism and even Street Art! I guess we'll have to DIY our own Tardis!
Our After-School program is listed from 4-5:30pm, allowing all students to arrive on foot, by bus or drop off to make it in advance of instruction time between 4:30-5:30pm. Drop off students may arrive anytime after 4pm.
