Kate lives in Wallingford with her husband, two kids, her mom, her doofy rescue dog & numerous animals who steal veggies from her garden. She moved to Wallingford in 2014, after living in South Philly for 15 years, and is still learning how to speak Delco. She is a proud graduate of Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin.
Kate is a non-profit professional, having worked in philanthropy and the arts community in the Philadelphia area for 24 years. She is the Administrative Director & Board Liaison for the Independence Foundation in Philadelphia. Previously, she was the Managing Director for 1812 Productions, Philadelphia's All-Comedy Theatre Company. She also worked in arts administration for the Arden Theatre Company, Philadelphia Live Arts & Philly Fringe and numerous other theater companies in Philadelphia. She's been a peer panelist for the Philadelphia Cultural Fund, was a Master Lecturer at University of the Arts, teaching theater management and non-profit finance & budgeting, and has also been a guest speaker at Temple University.
