In recognition of World Tobacco Day, join us for a presentation and discussion about advances in vape and e-cigarette technology, and the dangers of nicotine addiction.
Led by public health researcher Sean McCormick, Ph.D., M.S., this conversation will focus on the alarming rates of nicotine use and vaping among youth; the health risks associated with flavors, nicotine and cannabis substances found in vapes; how vapes impact adolescent development; and the environmental and community-level effects.
Dr. McCormick will also offer strategies for holding productive, safe conversations with your children and teens, and how to support them in making healthy decisions. Bring your questions and your experience!
