Take a dive inside! This yoga workshop will provide a deeper understanding into the layers of your core stability, which is so important for posture, managing stress and pain, improving pelvic floor function and just feeling more present in the body. We’ll cover some basic anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. Prepare to practice breathing techniques, exercise movements, and yoga postures. Modification of exercise and postures will be provided to ensure that all are welcome - can be done from a chair!

Andrea Barberio is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy and Yoga Therapist. She is a movement expert! Andrea specializes in the field of orthopedics, sports injuries, and women's pelvic health. She works with clients to optimize their movement patterns using the appropriate muscle groups and incorporates mindfulness practices into her teaching. Teaching group yoga, individual sessions, and teacher trainings for over 16 years, Andrea empowers clients to heal injuries, to be present in their bodies, and to feel a sense of well-being. Andrea has studied yoga for yoga for nearly 20 years.
