A Philadelphia Fringe Arts Presentation
It starts like any of the great stories of old: A clown walks into his best friend’s funeral. He walks out with a potentially supernatural problem, with no solution in sight.
FACEPAINT: A MORALITY PLAY is an explosive dark-comedy-slapstick-farce about three young people forced to reckon with relationship dynamics, grief, religious guilt and the fear of divine punishment. When grief drives professional clown Harold and personal injury lawyer Annette into their own separate spirals, Maria, Harold’s wife and Annette’s paralegal, is tasked with holding them both together.
FACEPAINT dares to ask the question: which of us is the TRUE clown? Appropriate for ages 16+. Curtain at 7PM. Suggested Donation $15.
