Welcoming life as it is - An introduction to Mindfulness Meditation
In this free one hour class we will discuss the basic foundation upon which Mindfulness Meditation is predicated, focusing on the primary benefits that Mindfulness Meditation brings to challenges we all face in living life in the present moment. You will be introduced to Mindfulness Meditation techniques that you can use and practice on your own at home, and we will practice together as a community. There will be an opportunity for questions as well as a journaling exercise. No experience necessary, all are welcome.
Things to bring. Something to journal with; a cushion if you prefer to sit on the floor otherwise chairs will be provided for everyone. Free for all.
Adam Marcus, E-RYT 200, has studied, practiced, and taught yoga, Budokon, and mindfulness meditation for the past two decades. Adam believes that both yoga and meditation hold innumerous benefits for everyone, regardless of where they are on their journey of awakening.
