Bruce Graham began his playwriting career at the Philadelphia Festival Theater for New Plays (PFT) in 1984 with his play Burkie. He later became the playwright-in-residence at PFT and served as the Artistic Director for two years. He has been recognized for his work with awards such as the Rosenthal Prize for Coyote On A Fence, two Barrymore Awards for Something Intangible and Any Given Monday, and the Joseph Jefferson Award for The Outgoing Tide.
Aside from his career as a playwright, Graham is also an ex-high school teacher and continues to teach playwriting and film courses at Drexel University. His play The Philly Fan will be presented at Hedgerow Theatre Sept 27 - Oct 15.
