Teen Yoga

This 8-week series is designed for young people who are seeking to learn how to take care of their bodies and minds by dedicating themselves to a weekly yoga practice. Students can expect to develop tools to help them build their own personal yoga practice, manage feelings of stress and anxiety while exploring basic yoga asana (physical postures), and will learn about the many benefits yoga has on the mind and body. This class aims to empower students to listen to their bodies by moving in a safe way and finding the power in their voice to build self-confidence.

Kaitlin Battiste

Kaitlin Battiste is a 200-hr CYT and has been practicing yoga for over ten years. Her calling to yoga stems from her background in dance, and upon first discovering yoga, she realized that yoga made for the perfect supplement to her dance teaching career by helping her build strength, mobility and flexibility while also providing a healthy outlet for achieving mental, spiritual and physical healing. She is currently working toward her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at West Chester University, and is passionate about integrating movement and mindfulness techniques with therapeutic interventions.
