Movement & Meditation Workshop
Start the New Year off right!
In his years of studying and practicing, yoga, martial arts, Budokon, and mindfulness meditation, Adam Marcus has come to appreciate the immense benefits to overall mental, physical and spiritual health through the integration of both movement and meditation into his daily life. Join Adam for this 2 hour workshop where we will explore both movement and mindfulness meditation practice together. The movement will include both a vinyasa and restorative practice, and the meditation will primarily take the form of short led mindfulness meditation practices. As we experience both practices there will be opportunities to reflect in order to find ways of integrating both practices into your own daily life experience in order to receive the benefits and ultimately realize the impact it has our own daily interaction with ourselves and others.
Open to all levels. Please print a yoga mat, blocks, and a blanket or something to sit on for practice as well as pen and paper if you wish to take notes or journal. Chairs will be provided for those who prefer to sit in a chair for mindfulness meditation practice.

Adam Marcus, E-RYT 200, has studied, practiced, and taught yoga, Budokon, and mindfulness meditation for the past two decades. His Iyengar and Ashtanga inspired classes are a dynamic and vigorous fusion of vinyasa and mindfulness, incorporating his strong knowledge of anatomy and yogic studies, and are accessible to both beginner and advanced yogis. Adam believes that both yoga and meditation hold innumerous benefits for everyone, regardless of where they are on their journey of awakening.
