Members of The Philadelphia Orchestra and graduates of The Curtis Institute of Music, Quartet Iris was founded in 2007. Named after the Greek goddess of the rainbow, the quartet brings to its performances a colorful blend of four diverse personalities and backgrounds. For their concert at the PAC Center, the quartet will perform the spirited final string quartet by Romantic master Johannes Brahms along with a string quintet by Luigi Boccherini.
