Generous Fire: Charles Dickens in America Dec. 16

$20.00

In this 45-minute performance audience members get a glimpse behind the public persona through a re-imagining of one of Mr. Dickens public readings. Mr. Dickens has already survived one stroke, but even he must admit that the end of his life is near at hand. The strain of his second American tour has proven too much for him, and his doctor has become his sole traveling companion. The public mask slips, and we bear witness to things he would never willingly present to his public.
