Rhythm Tap
Grades 3-5
Dig, Stomp, Stamp, Shuffle.... Learn the basic steps of tap dance, including warm up routines, how to put together basic steps to make combinations, and how to create your own combinations. If you are curious about Tap Dance, this is the class for you! Slow pace, no previous experience needed.
Bara Burden, originally from Prague, Czech Republic, began her dance career at the age of 5. The winner of several Czech Tap Dance Championship titles, she established her own tap dance company, Tappy Dancers, and in 1998 she began a partnership with the US Tap Dance community. For the past twenty years, Bara has been living, teaching and performing tap in the US as a member of Tap Team Two & Company. Bara also teaches adult tap classes at The PAC Center
Our After-School program is listed from 4-5:30pm, allowing all students to arrive on foot, by bus or drop off to make it in advance of instruction time between 4:30-5:30pm. Drop off students may arrive anytime after 4pm.
* We have limited number of loaner tap shoes in limited sizes. Email lisa@thecreativelivingroom.com to see if we have your child's size to loan.
Wear comfortable clothes, no specific dance attire needed. Tap shoes a must!
