Ages 11 - 15

For youth 11 - 15 at Park Avenue Community Center in Swarthmore. Join Animator Keville for a three day animation double feature. Camp starts with the classic Lego Stop Motion in the morning. Teams will gain an understanding of the Stop Motion Studio app (free version is fine) before making their short film. In the afternoon, Digital Animation will introduce campers to the long process of animating. Drawing is the key, so be sure to have the iBus Paint app and a stylist to learn the principles of animation. Keville will pepper his activities to include clips and video of a variety of animation genres, a bit on the history of animation and drawing techniques useful to any animator.

The Creative Living Room is a nonprofit community arts education organization that inspires creative curiosity in kids and families. Founded in 2008 by four enterprising women in the arts, TCLR has become a space to try on something new. Our themed classes, camps and parties combine artistic and creative mediums.
