Ages 5 - 12

For campers 5 - 12 at Congregation Beth Israel of Media. Water Balloons, Super Soakers, and Geysers Oh My! Campers will use unconventional methods to produce MESSY MASTERPIECES each week with our indoor and outdoor activities. Campers will participate in color-filled activities as we utilize water to color the world around us. We hope for a scorcher of a week so we can be outside all day. Water balloons, squirt gun painting, colored shaving cream darts, texture painting and tie dye! Lots of water-based group games and challenges. We'll also set up our mad-scientist art lab for some STEAM projects! And of course our fan-favorite from last summer the DIY Slip-n-Slide! Projects may include: DIY watercolor paints and sidewalk chalk, chlorophyll paintings, DIY Spin Art "machines", Story Stones, homemade bubble gum, Shaving Cream Twister, and of course SLIME. Projects will be an age-appropriate challenge!

Typically, campers have been grouped by age ~5-8 and 9-12.

The Creative Living Room

The Creative Living Room is a nonprofit community arts education organization that inspires creative curiosity in kids and families. Founded in 2008 by four enterprising women in the arts, TCLR has become a space to try on something new. Our themed classes, camps and parties combine artistic and creative mediums.
