Relax the body and mind with a Saturday morning meditation workshop. After a brief talk about the practice of meditation, we will experience seated meditation followed by a walking meditation. We will then be introduced to Maitri meditation, a Loving Kindness practice of unconditional acceptance of ourselves and others. After a period of Loving Kindness practice, the workshop will conclude with a brief discussion. This workshop is open to both new and experienced meditators.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes for sitting and walking.
Barry Buchy has studied and practiced Tibetan Buddhist meditations for over forty years. Authorized to teach in the Shambhala tradition, he has led group programs and counsels individual students.
