Restorative Qi Yoga Retreat for Winter
Start your new year off right with this relaxing & informative mini-retreat. Drawing inspiration from the energy healing practices of Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the retreat includes mindful meditation, self-massage, essential oil and crystals to prepare the body for relaxing restorative shapes (think lots of props) to promote the flow of Qi energy and release deeply held tension in body and mind.

Home for the Holidays: Yuletide Yoga & Mimosas
Take a break from the holiday hustle, support a very worthy local cause, and treat yourself to a soul-soothing Yuletide Yoga session with PAC yoga teacher and Director of Adult Programs, Mary Thompson. Following our yoga session we’ll enjoy festive mimosas, bagels and scones, preparing us to enjoy the rest of the day. For every person registered, the PAC will donate $5 to the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County, located in Media, whose mission is to prevent domestic violence and empower victims to move towards self-sufficiency.

Ballet for Adults is for anyone interested in all the health benefits for both the mind and body that ballet has to offer. No dance experience necessary.
Free Community Class: Qi Yoga for Self-Care
Calm mind and body with this unique self-care practice, blending the energy healing arts of Yin Yoga and Acupressure. Modifications and use of props make the practice more restorative. Mindful movement, Qi-gong, and self-massage are also incorporated.

Paint Flow Postcard Activity- Summer Senior Program
I bid you adieu! In the final Summer Senior Program activity for this season, we wrap up by crafting watercolor postcards. We will flow watercolor pigments to personalize our projects. Maybe send it to celebrate a birthday down the road, or mail one to a friend to brighten their day. The choice is yours! However you design it, make it your own special creation. It's been an incredible season for connection, and we can't wait to do it all again next year!

3D Clay Building: Stretch Your Hand Muscles- Summer Senior Program
Loosen your fingers and have fun while doing it! As we get older our fingers and hands can feel stiff, so let’s take a moment to stretch them out. This week is all about exploring our creativity with air dry clay. Mold and shape the clay into anything your imagination can conjure up. Work the clay while caring for your body and spirit. In just one day, after it's fully dried, you'll have a one-of-a-kind creation to proudly display. The possibilities are endless - so let's get sculpting!
Dance Fitness
Let the music move you and you’ll forget you’re working out! This artful blend of music and dance styles (contemporary, jazz, lyrical, ballet) and conditioning exercises will strengthen your whole body and soul! No previous dance experience required.
Mindfulness & Mediation with Pen Doodling- Summer Senior Program
With over 40 years of meditation experience, Barry will guide us on a mindfulness and meditation journey. We will practice techniques of focus and calm. After that, we will do a simple unwinding doodle activity lead by Sara. Letting our minds relax we will draw simple rhythmic shapes, spirals, or marks. This rhythmic drawing technique is proven to calm the brain and nervous system.This is going to be incredible to add to our self-care toolbox.
Living Kindness Meditation Workshop
Relax the body and mind with a Saturday morning meditation workshop. After a brief talk about the practice of meditation, we will experience seated meditation followed by a walking meditation. We will then be introduced to Maitri meditation, a Loving Kindness practice of unconditional acceptance of ourselves and others. This workshop is open to both new and experienced meditators.
