Ever want to immortalize a favorite pet on canvas? Well, this is the class for you. Come learn fun, easy and funky techniques to paint a whimsical portrait of your pet — or surprise a loved one with a painting of their furry friend!

We will work from a photo to be emailed to instructor Martha Perkins a week ahead so she can prepare your image to be transferred onto your canvas, which you will then paint. You will go home with a custom 8x10 acrylic painting of your pet. This is a perfect holiday gift for the pet lover in your life!

This is an adults-only BYOB painting class in a relaxed atmosphere — all levels of artistic experience welcomed. All materials included. Please bring a smock.

Martha Perkins

Martha Perkins has been a painter for more than 30 years as well as a jeweler and all-around creator. Her real passion is promoting talented local artists and helping them creating community connections. This is what led her in 2018 to open her Swarthmore boutique Gallery on Park, which represents over 90 local artists and makers.
