Level I, Rhythm Tap Dancing - Beginner, Fall II

It's never too late to learn how to Tap Dance! Learn the basic steps of tap dance, including warm up routines, how to put together basic steps to make combinations, and how to create your own combinations. If you are curious about Tap Dance, this is the class for you! Dance steps taught at a slow pace, no previous experience needed.

Tap shoes preferred but not required - teacher can advise you on finding the right shoes. Please wear comfortable clothing, not too baggy as the teacher needs to see your knees and ankles.

Bara Burden

Bara Burden, originally from Prague, Czech Republic, began her dance career at the age of 5. The winner of several Czech Tap Dance Championship titles, she established her own tap dance company, Tappy Dancers, and in 1998 she began a partnership with the US Tap Dance community. For the past twenty years, Bara has been living, teaching and performing tap in the US as a member of Tap Team Two & Company, which has been part of the Philadelphia area dance community for over thirty years.
