Acting Fundamentals for Adults, Fall I
Who’s interested in trying new adventures? Ever thought about trying your hand at acting? If so, join Acting Fundamentals for Adults, a six-week course that culminates in an open-class showcase.
Taught by veteran actress Susan Wefel, this class will follow the Hedgerow Theatre training of “humility, industry and an aptitude for learning.” The sessions offer collaboration, confidence building, improvisation, and some scene study for a showcase of scenes of classics by various playwriters to include Neil Simon, A.R. Gurney, David Ives, and Thornton Wilder.

Susan Wefel, a graduate of the Boston University Theater School, BFA in Acting, is a Philadelphia theater legend, performing on stage for more than four decades. She has starred in dozens of local and regional theater productions, and was the artist-in-residence at Hedgerow Theater in Rose Valley for 45 years. As a stage veteran, Susan is a much sought-after acting and theater arts coach and mentor, teaching children and adult acting classes. She particularly enjoys watching her older students rediscover their inner child and playful self through acting!
