Intro to Tap Dancing - Free Summer Wellness Class

It's never too late to learn how to tap dance! Intro to Tap is a preview of our new Beginner Tap class which starts in Fall 2025. In this class, we will learn the basic steps of tap dance, including warm-up routines, how to put together basic steps to make combinations, and how to create your own combinations. If you are curious about tap dancing, this is the class for you!

Dance steps are taught at a slow pace; no previous experience necessary.

Instructor Bara Burden is hearing impaired and wears a cochlear implant. She welcomes deaf and hard-of-hearing students to her classes.

Tap shoes preferred but not required - teacher can advise you on finding the right shoes. Please wear comfortable clothing, not too baggy, as the instructor needs to see your knees and ankles.
