Yoga for Active Adults, Fall I

This class is designed for age 50+ active adults wanting to keep doing the things we love! With a focus on balance, strength and flexibility, this class uses yoga as a lifelong practice to support healthy aging with mindfulness, helping us to enjoy the activities we love for years to come.

Chairs for balance support, blocks, straps and blankets provided; please bring a yoga mat.

Mary Thompson

Mary Thompson, E-RYT 200, first discovered yoga to maintain balance and strength throughout her career in federal law enforcement.  As a teacher, Mary creates a nurturing space for students to experience yoga as a gateway for transformation and growth, and as a modality of life-long wellness.  Mary is a certified Yoga for Healthy Aging instructor, and the founder of Sanctuary Yoga, a spiritual wellness ministry of Trinity Church, Swarthmore, cultivating compassion through the wisdom and practice of yoga.
