Yoga for Active Adults, Fall II

This class is designed for age 50+ active adults wanting to keep doing the things we love! With a focus on balance, strength and flexibility, this class uses yoga as a life-long practice to support healthy aging with mindfulness, helping us to enjoy the activities we love for years to come.

Chairs for balance support, blocks, straps and blankets provided, please bring a yoga mat.

Your Instructor

Mary Thompson

Mary Thompson, E-RYT 200, first discovered yoga to maintain balance and strength throughout her career in federal law enforcement.  As a teacher, Mary creates a nurturing space for students to experience yoga as a gateway for transformation and growth, and as a modality of life-long wellness.  Mary is a certified Yoga for Healthy Aging instructor, and the founder of Sanctuary Yoga, a spiritual wellness ministry of Trinity Church, Swarthmore, cultivating compassion through the wisdom and practice of yoga.
